ℹ️ ARTHRITIS💡
💡Arthritis is an inflammatory disease that affects the joints of your body. Basically its the inflammation or degeneration of your joints hence causes pain and stiffness whenever your joints are in use.
Body parts mostly affected by arthritis:
•Upper and lower limbs
•Hips.
•Knees.
•Lower back.
ℹ️ *_JOINTS_* 💡
▪️Joints are sensitive parts of the body that need to be protected and supported from any sort of friction or distortion. There soft tissues in place that prevent your bones at the joints from rubbing against each other. The articular cartilage mainly does the job. It aids in smooth movement of bones preventing pain.
▪️Some joints are shielded with a synovial membrane, that secrets a fluid lubricant for the joints.
▪️Joints are supported by tendons and ligaments. 🔸 Tendons are muscle-bone connectors.
🔸 Ligaments are bone to bone connectors.

▪️The common contributing factor to this condition is dairy milk intake. This is because the lactic acid in milk tends to accumulate in the blood, and once it accesses the fluids in the joint, it contributes to eating up the cartilages covering the bones.
▪️Arthritis may have different causes, like genetically acquired, but its critical that we reduce at all costs the contributing factors of wear and tear in the cartilage.
ℹ️Types of arthritis:
The most common types of arthritis are:
🔸Osteoarthritis, commonly referred to as "wear and tear” arthritis. It develops when joint due to repeated stress on the joints, that leads to breaking down of the protective cartilages. It’s the most common.
🔸 Ankylosing spondylitis, commonly arthritis of the spine (usually your lower back).
🔸 Juvenile arthritis (JA), this disorder comes when your body immune system attacks the tissue around joints. Children of age 16 or below mostly succumb to JA.
🔸 Gout, is a disorder that causes hard crystals of uric acid to form in your joints.
🔸 Psoriatic arthritis, joint inflammation that develops in people with psoriasis an autoimmune disorder that causes skin irritation.
🔸 Rheumatoid arthritis, is a form of arthritis that causes the immune system to attack synovial membranes in your joints. It's a fatal one.
